Nestled between Central Harrow and Wembley, The Black Horse is a large country style pub on Harrow Road. The pub features a large open plan layout with a long bar which runs the length of the interior.
Behind the pub is a good sized car park which is free for customers and, also, a beer garden featuring cute outdoor huts with heating and seating.
The Review
I visited the Black Horse on a Friday evening with my friend, Sharon and, when we arrived at around 5.30pm, the pub was buzzy but not packed – although it would get a lot busier within an hour or so – so it’s best to book if you’re planning a visit on a Friday or Saturday night.
We shared breaded prawns and Cajun topped fries which were freshly made and very good and came to £ 9.98. The menu is quite large with lots of choice and includes some great deals such as a set menu – two courses for £10.99 until 5pm and £12.99 after 5pm, as well as a Curry Night on Fridays from 5pm.
The staff at The Black Horse are very friendly and helpful – although the queue at the bar did tend to cause small delays in being served.
The pub – including the toilets – are extremely well maintained and the entire venue is light and airy. For pet lovers, The Black Horse is also doggy friendly.

Whether you’re after an affordable family lunch or a relaxed date night, The Black Horse is a really good choice in terms of comfort, convenience and value for money – particularly if you take advantage of one of the great deals available.
