Met Office issues yellow weather warning covering Harrow

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms covering large parts of the UK including Harrow.

The warning has been in place since 10am this morning, Sunday May 26, and will last until 7pm this evening.

The Met Office website says that heavy showers and thunderstorms may cause some disruption in places.

Adverse weather may cause spray and standing water, resulting in longer travel times for cars and buses, and potential flooding that could damage homes and businesses.

Train services may experience delays, and there is a slight risk of power outages and building damage from lightning strikes.

Keep an eye on Harrow Online throughout the day for any updates.
