This month’s round up of Harrow Council licence applications

Each month, Harrow Council receives a number of license applications from businesses looking to either set up shop or expand in our borough and, in this article, we’re looking at some of the applications made in May 2024:

Pepe Piri Piri, 119 Burnt Oak Broadway, Edgware, HA8 5EN

Fast food chain, Pepe Piri Piri which specialises in chicken dishes, has applied for a license for a new store in Edgware. The consultation ends on the 29th of May. If successful, the store will take its place on a busy shopping parade which includes a florist, a tobacconist and a tool shop.

Shell Pinner, Service Station, 21 Pinner Green, Pinner, Harrow, HA5 2AF

The Shell Service Station in Pinner which also has a shop facility has applied for a license which will require third party delivery drivers to comply with the requirements regarding sale of alcohol from retail premises and to operate a Challenge 25 age verification policy.

This variation will also require that no alcohol is delivered to schools, parks or playgrounds. This license amendment has been made in a bid to ensure that no alcohol is supplied to minors by a delivery driver on behalf of the Shell Service Station. The consultation will end on the 29th of May 2024.
