Harrow collision sends one person to hospital, causes fuel spillage and road closure

Watford Road in Harrow was blocked by police this morning following a collision around 5:15am.

One person was taken to the hospital, and the London Fire Brigade (LFB) attended the scene to handle an oil spillage.

The road was closed in both directions, causing the 182, 483, and N18 buses to be diverted.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 5.02am today (11 June) to reports of a road traffic collision on Watford Road, Harrow.

“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and treated a patient before taking them to hospital.”

A spokesperson for LFB said, “Firefighters from Wembley Fire Station worked to make the scene safe following a fuel spillage on Watford Road in Harrow.

“The Brigade was called at 0503 and the incident was over for firefighters at 0516.”
