Man taken to major trauma centre after incident in Rayners Lane

Emergency services rushed to Rayners Lane yesterday afternoon at around 4:15pm

Multiple members of Harrow Online reported seeing a number of ambulances and police cars near Rayners Lane station along with an air ambulance.

A spokesperson for Met Police said, “Police were called at 16:15hrs on Tuesday, 11 June to concerns for the welfare of a man in crisis at Rayners Lane, Harrow.


“Officers and London Ambulance Service [LAS] attended.

“At the scene a man, aged 60s, was found injured. He was taken by LAS to a north London hospital for treatment to injuries that were not life threatening and for mental health assessment.

“Enquiries established that no other persons were involved in the incident.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.09pm on Tuesday 11 June to reports of an incident on Rayners Lane, Pinner.

“We sent resources, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s air ambulance.

“We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
