Suspected Class A drugs found in abandoned sofa in Hatch End

Hatch End Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) officers made a significant discovery during a routine patrol, according to a recent post on the Harrow MPS Instagram account.

The officers’ search led them to Shaftesbury playing fields in Hatch End, where they found “mysterious empty snack bags.”

As the officers continued their exploration, they “stumbled upon an unexpected abandoned sofa.” Investigating further, they discovered “4 suspicious parcels of suspected CLASS A Drugs” hidden within the sofa.

The illicit substances were “promptly seized and sent off to Wembley for a grand exit,” marking a successful end to the officers’ routine patrol.
