Work begins this week on Harrow Town Centre upgrades

Harrow Council has announced a series of enhancements for Harrow Town Centre, as detailed in their latest MyHarrow newsletter.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to stay updated by bookmarking the council’s dedicated webpage: www.harrow.gov.uk/enhancingharrowtowncentre.

The transformation began earlier this week with the redevelopment of a corner of Greenhill Way car park. This area will soon feature temporary artist studios, leisure facilities, retail outlets, and exhibition space. The new creative hub aims to boost the vibrancy of the town centre and provide additional attractions for locals and visitors. Despite these changes, the car park will maintain over 200 spaces, including one hour of free parking.

Further improvements are scheduled to start later this summer, focusing on enhancing the town centre’s infrastructure. These upgrades will include safer crossing points, increased seating areas, and improved lighting, all designed to make Harrow Town Centre more welcoming and accessible.

Stay informed about these developments by visiting the council’s webpage.
