Peterborough Road in Harrow on the Hill was closed off by police this afternoon after a collision involving a bus.
The road was closed off at the junction with Football Lane shortly before 4pm with the 258 and H17 buses on diversion. The road reopened shortly after 9pm.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.53pm on Tuesday 18 June to reports of a road traffic collision on Football Lane, HA1.
“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an incident response officer, paramedics in fast response cars and members of our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART).
“We treated six people at the scene. We took four patients to hospital and of those, one was taken to a major trauma centre.”
A spokesperson for Met Police said, “At about 15:53hrs on Tuesday, 18 June officers on patrol came across a collision involving a van and a bus near the junction of Peterborough Road and Football Lane, Harrow.
“A bus passenger was taken to hospital as a precaution. Their injuries were later confirmed as not life-threatening.
“A number of other people on the bus were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
“No arrests have been made.
“Anyone with information or dash cam footage is asked to contact police on 101, quoting 5205/18 June.”
