Northolt Incident: Police cordons in place after stabbing

A bus and a section of pavement have been cordoned off in Northolt this afternoon following a stabbing.

A heavy police presence was spotted outside Sainsbury’s Local on Mandeville Road shortly after 5pm.

A post on a local Facebook group says, ‘Large police presence outside little Sainsbury’s, three police cars in attendance, one bus and a section of pavement taped off. No details as to what has happened, but traffic is slow in both directions due to onlookers.

A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called by LAS at around 16:20hrs on Tuesday 18 June to Mandeville Road, Northolt to reports of a stabbing.

“A man was stabbed in the arm. He has been taken to hospital. His condition is non-life threatening.

“There has been no arrest and enquiries continue.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 5449.”
