Woman aged in her 20’s stabbed in Wembley

A woman in her 20s has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Wembley.

The incident happened on Friday, June 14 at around 6:30am after reports of a woman being attacked on Sylvia Gardens, just near Harrow Road, came into Met Police.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.45am on Friday 14 June to reports of a stabbing at Sylvia Gardens, Wembley.


“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer. We also dispatched a trauma team from London’s air ambulance, which consisted of a doctor and a paramedic in a car.

“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre.”

A spokesperson for Met Police said in a statement, “Police were called at 06:38hrs on Friday, 14 June to reports of a person being attacked in Sylvia Gardens, Wembley. Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found a woman in her 20s with stab injuries. She was taken to a near-by hospital.

“Enquiries into the circumstances continue. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CR – 01/469245/24.”
