Harrow Council provide update on leisure centre repairs

Harrow Council has confirmed that the next stage of work to repair the swimming pool ceiling at Harrow Leisure Centre will begin next week.

The swimming pools and sauna were closed following a building inspection that revealed safety concerns. Specialist contractors have since conducted an extensive assessment of the facility.

The repair work is complex, but the council is committed to completing it as soon as possible. In the meantime, the council is supporting local swimming clubs and other organisations affected by the closure.

All other facilities at Harrow Leisure Centre, including the gym and sports halls, remain open.

Members can use their membership at other Everyone Active swimming venues, including Hatch End Swimming Pool, Northolt Leisure Centre, South Oxhey Leisure Centre, and Vale Farm Sports Centre.

Harrow Council also have a frequently asked questions section regarding the closure on their website.
