A power outage has hit Harrow, affecting 542 households and businesses.
The power cut was reported today, Monday June 24 at 17:35, and was caused by a fault in an underground electricity cable on the high voltage network.
UK Power Networks has stated, “As this was an unexpected power cut, we didn’t know it was going to happen so we were unable to give you advance notice. We estimate your power will be back on by 24 Jun 20:00 – 21:00. We may be able to get some customers on sooner. The timeframe may change and be extended depending on our investigations and the work involved to resolve the issue.”
The affected postcodes include HA1 1, HA1 2, and HA3 5.
Due to the outage, Harrow and Wealdstone Station gates, lifts, and customer information screens are currently not operational.
Update: Power was restored to all properties at around 9:10pm.
