A woman in her 20s was attacked and dragged from the street by a stranger in Manor Park Gardens, Edgware, last night. The incident occurred shortly before 10:30pm, leaving the local community in shock and prompting a significant police response today.

Police Cordon in Place

A police cordon has been set up, stretching from Manor Park Gardens onto Green Lane. Detectives are urging witnesses to come forward after a woman was dragged from the street by a stranger.

Incident Details

Police were called at 22:25 last night by a member of the public who found a partially clothed woman in Manor Park Gardens and saw a man running away. The victim, a woman in her 20s, was walking along the road when the suspect, hiding in a garden, attacked and dragged her into the garden.

Victim Support and Investigation

The victim is being supported by specialist officers. Detective Inspector Richard Lewsley from the North West Area’s Public Protection team said, “I understand that this a shocking and deeply concerning incident. Appeal for Information

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the Manor Park Gardens area between 22:15 and 22:30 last night to come forward. They are particularly interested in any sightings of the suspect, described as a white man with a stocky build, wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, and trainers.
