Celebrations in Queensbury and Harrow after India wins T20 World Championship

India won the T20 World Championship, sparking celebrations in Queensbury where fans were seen cheering and mounting signage on the roundabout outside Queensbury Station. A Lamborghini revved its engine to cheers from the crowd.

In a tense final in Bridgetown, South Africa’s history of losses continued as they handed India a thrilling victory.

India captain Rohit Sharma collapsed to the turf in joy as his teammates celebrated around him at Kensington Oval, marking their first World Cup title since 2011.
