Man rushed to major trauma centre after falling from height in Queensbury

A man has been rushed to hospital after falling from height in Queensbury Circle.

The incident happened as India cricket fans gathered in Queensbury to celebrate their victory in the T20 World Championship last night, June 29.

Footage shared on the Harrow Online Public Group on Facebook and across social media showed the incident that happened shortly after 7:30pm.

An air ambulance landed nearby and took the man to a major trauma centre as a priority patient.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7:36pm on Saturday 29 June to reports of an incident on Queensbury Station Parade.

“We sent multiple resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated a man at the scene before taking him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
