Wealdstone Drugs Raid: Suspected arrest and dangerous dog seized

Harrow police, along with officers from the Metropolitan Police Dog Support Unit, conducted a Section 23 Warrant at an address in Wealdstone.

A Section 23 warrant, under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, allows police to search premises for controlled drugs if there is reasonable suspicion of drug-related activities.

The operation followed an intelligence-led investigation into a resident suspected of supplying Class A drugs. Intelligence also indicated a dangerous dog was present at the address.

The suspect was arrested for possession of Class A cocaine, Class A heroin, and Class B cannabis. He has been charged and remanded to court.

A dangerous dog, classified under Section 1, was seized from the property. The suspect will be interviewed regarding this offence at a later date.

The Wealdstone North and Wealdstone South Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNTs) will continue to monitor the address and will apply for a closure order soon.
