Police rush to Harrow Weald after ‘stabbing’ incident on Long Elmes

Police were called to Augustine Road in Harrow Weald last night to reports of a stabbing that is believed to have happened on Long Elmes.

A large number of police cars and an ambulance were spotted on Augustine Road, just off Long Elmes near the shops, around 11pm. A member of Harrow Online reported seeing “five police cars and an ambulance.”

Police were also seen on the other side of the hills at the end of Augustine Road, on Courtenay Avenue.

A spokesperson for Met Police said, “At 22.36hrs on Sunday 7th July 2024, police were called to an address on Augustine Road in Harrow, following reports of a stabbing. On arrival, officers found a male who had suffered a minor injury to his neck.

“Members of the London Ambulance Service also attended the address, but the male declined medical treatment.

“No arrests have been made. The incident is believed to have happened close to a public call box on Long Elmes. Any witnesses to this incident are asked to call 101, quoting 01/565413/24.”
