Man rushed to major trauma centre after South Harrow collision

A man was taken to a major trauma centre last night after a collision at the junction of Eastcote Lane and Alexandra Avenue in South Harrow.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 9.36pm on Wednesday 10 July to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Alexandra Lane and Eastcote Lane, HA2.

The junction was closed off by police.

“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.

“The first of our crews arrived at the scene in five minutes.

“We treated a man at the scene, before taking him to a London major trauma centre.”

Met Police confirmed that they were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian, thankfully injuries are not life threatening or life changing.
