Greggs is set to take over the former Shoe Zone unit on Wealdstone High Street, new plans have revealed. The new shop will be located at 48 High Street, Wealdstone, and will open later this year
According to plans, the new shopfront will include an extract duct on the side of the building, with the current fascia panels replaced by new grey aluminium ones.
Illuminated signs featuring the ‘Greggs’ logo will be installed. The shop will also have new manual sliding doors, safety glass windows, and black ceramic tiles for the stallrisers.
The building’s appearance will be enhanced to better fit with the surrounding area, though the changes will not be drastic. The entrance will be level with the pavement, ensuring accessibility for everyone, including those with disabilities. Greggs’ Open-Door policy guarantees unrestricted access at all times
A spokesperson for Greggs told Harrow Online, “Greggs is due to open a new shop in Wealdstone later this year. We will be able to share further details with you closer to the opening.”
Keep an eye out for further updates on Harrow Online as the opening date approaches.
