The West Harrow Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) worked with other local teams for Operation KENMORE, aiming to reduce anti-social behaviour (ASB) in Harrow Town Centre last week.
During the operation, officers encountered homeless individuals, a beggar, and people drinking alcohol in public. Each situation was handled with support or the necessary actions.
Working with the Rough Sleeping Coordinator, they cleared an area of bedding and rubbish.
Police confirmed via a post on their socials that one person was arrested for immigration offences after being found to have no legal immigration status. The operation wrapped up after the arrest, showing significant progress in just one hour.
