Harrow takes centre stage in the upcoming psychological thriller ‘Reawakening,’ directed by longtime resident and BAFTA-nominated Virginia Gilbert.
Shot entirely in Harrow during 2022, the movie stars Jared Harris, Juliet Stevenson, and Erin Doherty. The story revolves around a couple who, ten years after the disappearance of their teenage daughter, are confronted by a young woman claiming to be that long-lost girl. This gripping story marks the second feature from writer/director Virginia Gilbert.
Produced by Little Light Film Productions and Rustle Up Productions, ‘Reawakening’ is set to be released in cinemas on September 13th. The highly anticipated trailer has just launched, and Harrow Online has an exclusive sneak peek.
Excitement in Harrow has been building since filming began. Local businesses and residents eagerly discussed what they thought might be being filmed when the film crew converted St Jérôme Church of England Bilingual Primary School in Harrow Town Centre into a ‘police station’ back in August 2022.
As the release date of September 13th approaches, anticipation continues to build. Harrow Online will provide more in-depth coverage, including an exclusive interview with director Virginia Gilbert, as we get closer to the premiere.
