Bright Little Stars Harrow celebrated the grand reopening of their upgraded Nursery Garden and the official opening of their new Sensory Cabin on Tuesday, 23rd July. The event was officiated by Mayor Chowdhury Salim and attended by parents and Kamran Malik, Early Years SEND Advisor.
The Sensory Cabin project, led by the SENCO team, was funded through successful grants and parent contributions. This initiative emerged from consultations with parents and staff, aiming to create a safe environment for children to explore their senses, offering numerous developmental benefits.

Wendy Gore, Nursery Manager, said, “Our garden refurbishment has been a huge success. The children love playing in the new mud kitchen, making mud pies, and creating lots of mess! The new sandpit is a firm favourite; the children enjoy taking off their shoes and exploring the sand with their toes.
“Bright Little Stars Harrow prides itself on providing exceptional care while supporting all children to reach their full potential, and both of these recent projects contribute to that mission.”

The newly reopened Nursery Garden and Sensory Cabin enhance the facilities at Bright Little Stars Harrow, reinforcing the nursery’s commitment to providing an engaging and nurturing environment for all children, including those with identified needs.
