In the early hours of this morning, Friday, August 9th, police responded to an abandoned 999 call on Greenhill Way in Harrow.
A member of Harrow Online reported seeing at least five police cars outside the old Debenhams building during the incident.
A spokesperson for Met Police said, “At approximately 06.44hrs on Friday 9th March officers attended an address on Greenhill Way in Harrow, in response to an abandoned 999 call. Due to welfare concerns for the occupants, and having received no answer at the door, officers forced entry to the property.
“A male inside the address became uncooperative with officers and PAVA spray was deployed. One officer received minor injuries to his arm during the incident, but did not require medical assistance. The male was arrested for common assault, and assault on police, and was taken to a police station in North West London.”
