A third local business has fallen victim to a series of ram-raids targeting eateries and restaurants in and around Harrow over the past week.
The latest incident occurred at La Dolce Vita, an ice cream and dessert parlour located on High Street in Ruislip that has been in business for over 35 years.
The break-in took place in the early hours of Tuesday morning, following similar raids in Rayners Lane and Hatch End. Despite police recovering a stolen BMW linked to the earlier crimes, the burglars used a similar vehicle in this latest attack.

Fortunately, no cash was stored in the till, so the thieves left empty-handed.
A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online, “Police were called at 1:25hrs on Tuesday, 13 August to reports of a burglary in Ruislip High Street, HA4.
“Officers attended and found that a car has driven into the front of a shop.
“No one was injured during this incident.
“A crime scene remains in place and enquiries into the circumstances continue.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD432/13AUG. You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
