A man has been charged with attempted rape in Harrow.
The incident is alleged to have occurred on Stafford Road, Harrow Weald, just off Boxtree Lane. Residents reported a police and forensic presence on the road for over 24 hours.
A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online, “Dwaine Clutton, 37 [21.3.87] of Hatch End, Harrow, was charged on Thursday, 15 August with attempted rape and sexual assault.
“He appeared at Willesden Magistrates Court on Friday, 16 August where he was remanded to appear at Harrow Crown Court on 19 August
“This follows an investigation by officers from the Met’s North West Command into an allegation of attempted rape of a woman aged 40s, by a man alleged to have taken place at Stafford Road, Harrow around midday on Wednesday, 14 August.”
