He changed his plea mid trial after CCTV evidence from his mobile phone was presented in court that showed him following women.

Officers from the Met’s North West Command, concerned for her safety, arranged to follow her on a school run to apprehend a stalking suspect, but he didn’t show up.

The victim later spotted the suspect, Manning-Egeonwon, and notified the police, who then detained him. During his arrest, another woman reported being followed by him as well.

Further investigation of Manning-Egeonwon’s phone revealed over 100 videos showing him stalking multiple women, including filming them through windows.

Detective Constable Jas Brar investigating, said: “The scale of offending in this case was extreme. Manning-Egeonwon was stalking women day and night and in some cases approached them directly or knocked on their door.

“His actions were menacing and highly intrusive and caused extreme distress to the women he targeted. It is completely unacceptable that anyone should be afraid to leave their home for fear of this kind of harassment or that their sense of personal safety should be damaged in this way.

“I would like to thank the victims for supporting the investigation and sincerely hope that they can now move forward with a degree of confidence, knowing that Manning-Egeonwon is no longer free to roam the streets.”
