The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Harrow and the wider London and South East England area, with heavy rain expected on Saturday, 24th August.
The warning is set to be in effect from 6:00am until 1:00pm with periods of intense rainfall likely to cause disruptions throughout the day.
Residents are advised to prepare for potential travel delays, as spray and flooding on the roads could lead to longer journey times.
Those using public transport should also anticipate possible delays, as bus and train services may be impacted.
While the main concern is travel disruption, there is also a slight chance of flooding in a few homes and businesses.
With these conditions in mind, it’s important for residents to stay informed and take necessary precautions if traveling or planning activities during this time.
Issued: 10:07am, Friday 23rd August 2024.
