On Saturday, 24th August, officers from the Wealdstone Police, conducting patrols under ‘Operation Kendrey’, encountered an intoxicated male on High Street, Wealdstone.
The officers, who were targeting anti-social behaviour (ASB) in the area, approached the individual and requested that he stop consuming alcohol as it was a breach of the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO).
Later, the same individual was encountered by the officers on Headstone Drive, where he was found swearing and making racially aggravated comments towards one of the officers.
The male was subsequently arrested by the officers under the charges of Racially Aggravated Section 4a Public Order and Section 5 Public Order.
