The Fat Crab, found at 383 Alexandra Avenue in Harrow, has been awarded the highest possible Food Hygiene Rating of 5 (Very Good) by Harrow Council.
The inspection, taking place on 13th August 2024, highlighted the restaurant’s strong performance in several key areas, with Food Hygiene and Safety, Structural Compliance, and Confidence in Management all receiving a ‘Good’ rating.
According to their official website, “The Fat Crab was founded in 2014 with the idea of bringing the flavours and nostalgia of Sri Lankan home food to the masses. It was an adventure to create the smell of the sea, warmth of the sandy beaches, exotic spices and the warmth of the people to the table.”
It continues, “The idea was to bring friends, families and seafood lovers to enjoy the riches of the sea in the simplest way possible. At The Fat Crab, it is all about enjoying seafood in an unpretentious way, surrounded by your loved ones and friends.”
In addition to its Rayners Lane location, The Fat Crab has branches in Surrey, Clapham, and Stratford.
