Review: The Paradox Museum in London

The Harrow Online team recently took a trip to the new Paradox Museum in London, and it was an experience that left us both amazed and entertained, to say the least!

Located just an hour away from Harrow on the Tube, this museum is a must-visit for anyone looking to challenge their perceptions and explore a world where the impossible becomes possible.

Everything in the museum is not as it seems!

The museum is filled with interactive exhibits that defy the laws of physics and reality, making it a perfect destination for visitors of all ages.

From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a series of rooms that each offer a unique twist on reality. Our favourite was the Reversed Room, where everything is upside down.

What the?

A makeshift tube station within the museum that allows you to use the props to create memorable photos with your family. One you’re done, you flip the photos upside down to make the pics come to life.

It’s a mind-bending space that’s perfect for taking unforgettable photos that will leave your friends scratching their heads.

Another highlight was the Zero Gravity Room, which isn’t for the faint-hearted. This room makes you feel like you’re floating around and as the room turns – you turn with it!

The camouflage room

The Camouflage Room also caught our attention, allowing us to blend into the background and play with the illusion of invisibility. You pop on an invisibility cloak (of sorts) and when you look at your pics, your head appears to be floating in the room.

The museum was busy during our visit, it’s a clear sign of its growing popularity and the chatty atmosphere added to the excitement – it’s a real treat hearing the gasps and excitement of everyone as they make their way round.

During the visit we found plenty of opportunities to enjoy each exhibit and fully immerse ourselves in the paradoxical experiences. This is definitely a must see if you are in London and have a young family.

Good to know: The museum is open every day from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm, and the entire visit lasts approximately 90 minutes. Tickets are reasonably priced, starting at £16.50 for children and £22 for adults, making it accessible for families, groups, or even solo adventurers.

Find it at 90 Brompton Rd, London SW3 1JJ, nearest stop is Knightsbridge. It’s just opposite Harrods – visit their official website for more images and details.
