The family of an 80-year-old man from Kingsbury have made an appeal to the public to help locate him after he went missing on Sunday.
has been reported missing after leaving the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead on Sunday, 8 September 2024.
His family have expressed extreme concern for his welfare, especially as he does not have his medication with him.
Alan, described as 5’9”, of medium build, with grey hair, was last seen wearing a T-shirt and shorts. He is a former London cabbie and has been reported to have links to Paddington and White City. His family believes he may have become confused and returned to these areas instead of going home.
In a statement shared on social media, Alan’s daughter-in-law expressed the family’s increasing worry: “We are growing increasingly worried for the welfare of my Father in Law Alan Longman. He lives in Kingsbury but disappeared on his way home from the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, he was last seen at 7pm yesterday (Sunday) when he left the hospital and never returned home.”

Alan was last spotted outside Lancaster Gate tube station at 5am yesterday morning (Monday 9th September). Family members have been retracing the bus route between the hospital and his home, while also checking links to other familiar areas.
The police have asked for any immediate sightings to be reported to 999, with the reference CAD336 (10/9/24) or CAD1196 (9/9/24).
