St Luke’s Hospice has announced that its Rayners Lane charity shop will be closing this Friday, 20 September 2024.
The closure marks the end of many years of service to the local community.
In a statement shared on social media, the hospice extended its thanks to staff, loyal customers, donors, and volunteers. “Your generosity has made a real difference in the lives of so many,” the post read.
St Luke’s Hospice also encouraged supporters to visit one of its other charity shops and provided a link for locating the nearest one via its website.
The shop’s closure comes as part of ongoing changes for the hospice, which continues to rely on public support for its charitable efforts.
