The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of thunderstorms for Harrow and other areas in London and the South East.
The warning will be in effect from 12:00 to 20:00 on Friday, 20th September.
Although many areas are expected to remain dry, thunderstorms and heavy showers could lead to potential disruptions.
The forecast includes possible damage to buildings and structures due to lightning strikes. Short-term power outages and service interruptions may also occur.
Train services may face delays, and drivers are advised to expect difficult conditions, including standing water, hail, and longer travel times due to adverse weather.
Stay updated for further developments as the weather evolves.
Issued by the Met Office at 09:37 on Thursday, 19th September.
