In the early hours of this morning (Thursday, 19th September), at approximately 4:27am, police were called to Tesco Express on Uxbridge Road in Hatch End following reports of an attempted break-in.
A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online, “At approximately 04.27am today (Thurs 19th Sept) Police were called to Tesco Express on Uxbridge Road in Hatch End, following a report of two males armed with a hammer attempting to break into the store.”

“The two males had made off on foot prior to police. A crime scene remains in place. Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote: CAD 852/19SEP24.”
