In the early hours of Friday, 20th September, a high-speed pursuit starting in Brent ended in Harrow with the arrest of a suspected drink driver.
A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “In the early hours of Friday 20th September a black VW Golf failed to stop for officers in Brent.
”A pursuit was initiated with the vehicle eventually colliding with street furniture in Connaught Road, having travelled over the border into Harrow.
“The male driver decamped from the vehicle and was detained by officers following a short foot chase.
“He was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving and taken to a police station in North West London.”
