Police officers from Marlborough Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) visited Harrow Central Mosque this week to engage with local women and girls, addressing any concerns they might have.
The officers distributed leaflets focused on Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and highlighted street safety, explaining how incidents can be reported.
Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) also approached local shop owners in the area, offering advice on business safety and discussing how reporting local issues could make a positive impact.
Female business owners were also specifically asked about any concerns they had regarding safety in their business premises or during their commute.
The news was shared by Harrow MPS via their social media channels.
