Preston Hill, Harrow, is currently blocked in both directions due to a burst water main at the junction of The Mall. The closure is affecting bus routes 79 and 204.
Affinity Water has confirmed that several areas, including HA3, HA9, NW9, and HA7, are experiencing issues, with low pressure reported in some areas.
The company is assessing the site and has begun redirecting water from other parts of the network to maintain supply at a lower pressure while repairs are carried out.
Traffic management is being arranged to allow repair crews to begin digging and expose the main. Another update is expected after 2pm today.
