Firefighters rushed to Christchurch Avenue in Harrow last night after five tonnes of rubbish went up in flames.
The incident happened at around 9pm next to Harrow Leisure Centre car park. Last summer, the area experienced at least four fires in just one month, prompting residents to raise concerns about its security.

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said, “Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters tackled a rubbish fire on Christchurch Avenue in Harrow.
“Around five tonnes of building materials and rubbish was destroyed by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade was called at 2115 and the fire was under control by 2239. Crews from Stanmore and Wembley fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
