Harrow police reported two recent burglaries in South Harrow this week and have appealed for information from the public.
The first burglary took place on Malvern Avenue on Friday, 4th October 2024, between 7:00pm and 8:30pm. Suspects entered the property by smashing a window near the front door and using the thumb lock to gain entry.
Cash and jewellery were stolen, and an untidy search was carried out inside the home. Police are continuing their investigation.
The second incident occurred on Torbay Road, Rayners Lane, on Sunday, 6th October 2024, between 8:45pm and 9:00pm. Two unknown suspects forced entry through a window while the victims were away, stealing cash and jewellery.

Investigations are ongoing, and police are asking residents to remain vigilant, although there is no specific intelligence suggesting a targeted group is operating in the area.
Harrow MPS posted the appeal via the Online Watch Link (OWL), urging anyone with information about either incident to come forward.
They are particularly interested in reports of suspicious individuals, vehicles, or activity in the area during the times of the burglaries. Residents with CCTV or motion-sensitive cameras are asked to check their footage for anything unusual.
If you have any information, please call 101, quoting Crime Reference no. 01/930117/24 for the Torbay Road incident.
