Two phone snatching incidents were reported yesterday, Wednesday 16th October, in North Harrow and Rayners Lane.
The first incident is said to have occurred at 6:15pm near the Three Wishes pub on the Broadway in North Harrow. A person reported that their phone was snatched by a young adult wearing a dark blue puffer jacket, dark bottoms, a hood, and a face mask. The individual was seen riding a black e-bike.
Later the same day, another report came from Rayners Lane, where a similar incident took place. A resident shared that they were walking with their partner when a person on an electric bike, wearing a face mask, sped past them. The same person was seen circling the area and later attempted to snatch a phone from a girl in a local park. According to the person posting, the attempt failed due to her strong phone case.
Residents are advised to stay vigilant and be cautious of individuals on e-bikes.
