Since the alleged rape near St Mary’s Church, Harrow-on-the-Hill on Saturday, details of another incident that took place in August have emerged.
A Met Police spokesperson said, “Police were called just after 7.15pm on Saturday, 31st August to a report of an attempted robbery outside St Mary’s Church, Harrow-on-the-Hill.
“The male victim was threatened by the suspect who was armed with a knife and a screwdriver. Although the suspect went through the victim’s pockets, no property was taken. A male has since been arrested and bailed in relation to this offence.”
In the latest incident, a 16-year-old male was arrested on Monday, 4 November, on suspicion of rape, kidnap, and two counts of attempted robbery following a report made just before midnight on Saturday near Church Hill.
A Met Police spokesperson confirmed that officers were not seeking anyone else in connection with the investigation.
It is not known if the two incidents are related at this time.
