Herts Police have released a new image as they continue to ask for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl from Hoddesdon who has links to Edgware.
“Layla was last seen in the Hoddesdon area at around 8pm on Friday (1 November),” police said.
“This image (pictured) is the latest image police can release of Layla, in the hope of finding her. Layla is described as around 5ft 5ins tall, with long brown wavy hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black coat with a hood which has a white fur trim,” they added.
Detectives believe she may be with another female. She also has links to Edgware in London. Officers say they are growing increasingly concerned about Layla’s welfare.
If you have seen Layla since she was reported missing or have information about where she has been, you can report this by:
- Calling 999 immediately if you believe you are with Layla now or have seen her in the last few moments, quoting ISR 447 of 4 November.
- Filling out an online reporting form at herts.police.uk/report.
- Speaking to an operator in the Force Communications Room via online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact.
- Calling the non-emergency telephone number 101 if you have information about her whereabouts.
Police are asking the public to share the information.
