Londoners have the opportunity to win prizes, including Eurostar tickets and iPads, by supporting the London Ambulance Charity’s Winter Prize Draw. The proceeds from ticket sales will help London Ambulance Service provide additional support for ambulance crews and 999 call handlers, funding initiatives such as a wellbeing café, support vehicles, rest areas at ambulance stations, and a staff hardship fund.
Tickets cost £2, and participants could win prizes like trips abroad, nights out in London, and Apple products.
Jess Burgess, Head of Charity at London Ambulance Service, said: “The hard work of our expert teams at London Ambulance Service touches the lives of millions of people each year, and our winter prize draw is a really simple way of giving something back to the crews and call handlers who care for the capital every single day. It is all in support of a truly worthy cause, and you could be in with a chance of winning a wonderful prize.
“Lots of people have already signed up to be in with a chance of winning through our straightforward and secure website, but it’s not too late if you would like to join us!
“This is our biggest prize draw yet, and the list of goodies up for grabs is still growing. I would like to say a huge thank you to every company and organisation that has donated a prize to the cause – we have seen a hugely generous response so far.”
To enter, Londoners can purchase a £2 ticket on the London Ambulance Charity website. Prizes include iPads, Apple AirPods, Eurostar tickets, and a signed Tottenham Hotspur jersey from the men’s first team.
Additionally, Londoners can support the Heart Starters campaign, funding life-saving defibrillators by taking on a fundraising challenge. Established in 1997, the charity supports London Ambulance Service staff and helps train communities in CPR.
The draw closes on 12 December, with winners announced on 13 December.
