With autumn here and the days growing darker, the lack of daylight can bring on winter blues and even seasonal affective disorder (SAD), which affects people during the darker months.
In Wembley Park, Repton Gardens is embracing the role of houseplants to support mental and physical wellbeing. The building, named after landscape architect Humphry Repton, incorporates greenery in its Club Room and work-from-home offices. Apartment interiors feature earthy colours and natural materials, creating a connection to nature.
Repton Gardens offers 396 rental apartments, from studios to four-bedroom homes, managed by Quintain Living. The development, focused on sustainability, includes three buildings around a podium garden with a gym, Club Room, and workspaces leading out to garden areas with trees, playparks, and BBQ spaces. The apartments provide balconies with views of the podium garden and easy access to nearby Union Park, a space with lawns, trees, and fountains for Wembley Park residents.
“Repton Gardens is awash with greenery, both inside and out, providing residents with a host of wellbeing benefits. This is particularly important over the autumn and winter, when many of us need the additional boost that a connection with nature has the power to provide,” said Danielle Bayless, Chief Operating Officer, Quintain Living.
