The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds across Harrow and the rest of London.
The warning is in effect from 8:00am to 9:00pm today, Sunday 24 November, as Storm Bert is expected to bring disruption throughout central and eastern parts of England.
Strong winds are likely to cause delays to road, rail, air, and ferry transport. Bus and train services may also be affected, resulting in longer journey times for some passengers.
High-sided vehicles are particularly at risk of delays on exposed routes and bridges. There is also a chance of short-term power cuts and disruptions to other services, say the Met Office.
Residents are urged to take necessary precautions and plan their journeys with care.
