West Harrow Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team is supporting Grange Primary School for the third consecutive year with its Christmas appeal.
The school, located in Harrow, has the highest number of children on Free School Meals of any primary school in the borough. Due to rising living costs and limited funding, many families are struggling, and the school is seeking the community’s support to ensure all pupils receive a Christmas present.
The team is appealing for new toys, books, puzzles, and treats for children aged 4 to 11. Donations should be left unwrapped, but spare Christmas wrapping paper is also welcome.
Gifts can be dropped off at the front desk of Harrow Police Station, 70-74 Northolt Road, South Harrow, HA2 0DN, where a poster with details will be displayed.
A spokesperson from the team said, “It’s tough times for many families, and despite all the very best efforts from the school and staff, funding is very tight as well. We kindly ask the wider community of Harrow to kindly provide a gift, or make a donation to the school in helping to achieve this.”
The appeal deadline is 10th December at 6pm and donations can also be made directly to Grange Primary School using the following details:
