A woman from Harrow who contacted emergency services more than 2,000 times over three years has been evicted from her home. The update comes months after she was sentenced to 22 weeks in prison earlier this year.
Between 2021 and 2023, the individual made repeated calls to the 999 emergency line, using 17 different mobile phone numbers. Her actions placed her among the most frequent callers to the Metropolitan Police during that period, with over 1,000 calls made in 2023 alone.
The woman was arrested in January after breaching the Communications Act 2003 on 668 occasions and faced a total of 670 charges. Upon her arrest, she was also detained for racially aggravated public order offences and criminal damage after incidents involving police officers.
She was also convicted for the emergency line calls and four counts of racially aggravated offences against emergency service workers.
Harrow MPS shared the latest development five days ago, confirming that the woman has now been evicted from her residence.
