Transport for London (TfL) has announced several disruptions this weekend, and this evening, that will affect travel in Harrow and nearby areas. These include changes to the Bakerloo line, Piccadilly line, and services to Winter Wonderland. Here’s what you need to know.
Thursday, 28 November: The Bakerloo line will have no service between Queen’s Park and Harrow & Wealdstone after 22:30 due to Network Rail emergency engineering works at Stonebridge Park. A reduced service will operate from 21:30, and passengers are advised to complete their journeys by 21:30 if possible.
Rail replacement buses will run:
- Route 718 between Queen’s Park and Harrow & Wealdstone from 21:00.
- Route 720 between Harrow & Wealdstone and Watford Junction from 21:30.
Saturday, 30 November, and Sunday, 1 December: If you are heading to Winter Wonderland, Hyde Park Corner station on the Piccadilly line will be closed from 10:00 to 23:59 each day for crowd management. Visitors are advised to use nearby stations such as Victoria, Bond Street, or Paddington.
For those traveling from Harrow, other disruptions include:
- No Piccadilly line service between King’s Cross and Cockfosters, including the Night Tube. Alternative routes or bus services should be used.
