A special ‘Day of Action’ event will be held in Harrow Town Centre on 10th December 2024 as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.
The special initiative aims to raise awareness and advocate for change to tackle violence against women and girls in all its forms.
The event itself will take place at Katie’s Statue in Harrow Town Centre from 10am to 4pm. Members of the public are invited to attend and learn more about the ongoing efforts to address gender-based violence.

Various police units, including the mounted branch and police dogs, will be present alongside local support services, partners, and charities. This is a good opportunity for the community to come together, show support, and access resources to combat this critical issue affecting our borough.
The 16 Days of Activism is an international campaign that seeks to eliminate violence against women and girls, advocating for greater awareness and solutions.
