An incident of sexual assault at Neasden underground station, north-west London, has prompted an appeal from British Transport Police (BTP). Officers have released an image of a man they wish to speak with regarding the investigation.
The incident happened at around 8pm on Friday, 22 November. A man reportedly followed two women off a Jubilee line train at Neasden and sexually assaulted one of them.
A spokesperson for BTP said: “Do you recognise this man? Officers investigating an incident of sexual assault at Neasden underground station are today releasing this image in connection.
“At around 8pm on Friday 22 November, a man followed two women off of a Jubilee line train at Neasden before sexually assaulting one of them.
“Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help with their investigation.
“Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 617 of 22 November.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
